These are few facts that everybody should know or they know already 🤔.

How it all started?

With the big bang theory, Yes! not the sitcom rather the theory – theory. They are many theories as how the universe existed but the simplest way to understand it is:

  • Somewhere around 13.8 billion years ago, a matter containing energy exploded (couldn’t bear its energy). With the explosion, the dust particles that lingered around in the galaxy started to form asteroids and comets. Planets formed when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust. That’s when our solar system was born.
  • We always get confused with the milk way and galaxy and universe. Universe has many galaxies (billions) and in it, is our milk way and in that we have our Solar System. The Sun at the center and because of the it’s gravitational pull, all the planets in the solar system orbit around it.

Each and every planet is beautiful and very interesting to learn.

Earth

It took billion years to form Earth. It is believe that water came to Earth with asteroid.

  • The earliest life forms known are microscopic organisms (microbes).
  • Moon and Earth are believed to have formed together.
  • Moon was much closer to Earth but with time moving further away from it.

Its shape – its shape is changing with time. but is believed to be ellipsoid. However, even an ellipsoid does not adequately describe the Earth’s unique and ever-changing shape. It has bulge at the center due to effect centrifugal force also due to the gravitational pull of the moon.

Imaginary lines – is used for everything – orbits, dividing hemispheres (north and south), longitudes and latitudes.

Equator is at the center of the earth where lies the evergreen forest. (will discuss in detail)

What’s inside it?

The deepest trench is the Mariana Trench

The cores are made of iron and nickel and molten lava.

  • Iron and nickel creates magnetic field which protects us from harmful rays of Sun.
  • Molten lava is responsible for earthquake.

Lastly :

  • Poles are shifting. This was suppose to happen slowly but its happening faster then expected. This is creating climate shift. The ice is melting.
  • North Magnetic Pole is shifting its place from Canada to Russia at a speed of 50-60 km per year

Most important: Nothing is concrete, as things are based on standard approval and as the things are changing with time.

For example if I tell you apple is red. This is agreed by most of the people to name is as red for convenience cause it would be a very long procedure to explain the true colour (just a hypothetical example)

This is an obstacle face by the education department. Because they have to cut down information so that the child understand from his/her level of understanding. While doing that facts are hampered. And what we know is not completely true. Facts are updated every now and then (still discovering).
